Waitlist Agreement
Regal Ridge Schnauzers · Separate from Sale Contract
This Waitlist Agreement (“Agreement”) is between Regal Ridge Schnauzers (“Breeder”) and the undersigned applicant (“Applicant”). This document governs waitlist participation only. It is not a puppy sale contract. The Puppy Sale / Adoption Contract is a separate document executed when a specific puppy is reserved.
1. Purpose of the Waitlist
The waitlist allows Applicant to express interest in an upcoming litter and remain in communication for future matching. Placement is never guaranteed solely by waitlist order.
2. Waitlist Fee
A waitlist fee of $300.00 USD may be requested after application review. When paid:
- The fee holds Applicant’s place in active consideration for upcoming litters matching stated preferences.
- The fee is credited toward the overall puppy total if Applicant later reserves a Regal Ridge puppy (Miniature total $1,200 / Standard total $2,000, unless otherwise stated in writing).
- The fee is not an additional charge on top of the puppy total when applied as described in our published fee process.
3. No Guarantee of a Specific Puppy
Breeder matches by temperament, household fit, health timing, and availability. Applicant understands that:
- Waitlist position does not entitle Applicant to a particular puppy, color, sex, or litter date.
- Breeder may decline or pause an application if the home is not a suitable match.
- Litters and timelines can change due to breeding, health, or whelping outcomes.
4. Communication & Application Truthfulness
Applicant agrees to provide accurate household information and to respond to Breeder communications in a timely manner. Failure to respond within a reasonable period may result in removal from active waitlist status.
5. Moving from Waitlist to Reservation
When a suitable puppy is identified and both parties wish to proceed, Applicant will review and sign the separate Puppy Sale Contract, and pay any reservation fee then due (commonly $600, credited toward the puppy total as published). Waitlist credit is applied according to Breeder’s fee schedule at the time of reservation.
6. Cancellation & Refunds (Waitlist)
- If Applicant withdraws before a puppy is reserved, refund eligibility for the waitlist fee (if paid) will be confirmed in writing by Breeder based on the circumstances and timing.
- If Breeder cannot offer a suitable match within a mutually discussed timeframe, Breeder will work with Applicant on options, which may include continued waitlist status or a refund discussion for any paid waitlist fee.
- Once a puppy is reserved under a signed Sale Contract, that contract’s refund and deposit terms control.
7. Privacy
Applicant information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and used to evaluate and communicate about placement.
8. Acknowledgement
By submitting a waitlist application and/or paying the waitlist fee, Applicant acknowledges they have read this Waitlist Agreement and understand it is separate from the Puppy Sale Contract.
